Privacy Policy

Satya Wellness is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN 84-3054156). This policy explains what we collect through satyawellness.org, why, and what we do with it. We have tried to write it in plain language.

The short version

We collect only what you type into a form. We don’t track you around the internet, we don’t run advertising cookies, and we never sell or rent your information to anyone.

What we collect

Information you give us

• Contact form. Your name, email address, and whatever you write in the message field.
• Workshop notifications. Your email address, if you ask to be told when a session opens.

We use this only to reply to you or to send you the thing you asked for. We don’t add you to any other mailing list.

Information collected automatically

Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs — IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time — which are used to keep the site running and secure. These logs are not used to build a profile of you.

Analytics and cookies

This site does not currently use analytics software, advertising tags, social media pixels, or any cookie that tracks you across other websites. We set no marketing or profiling cookies. If that ever changes, we will update this page and say so clearly before the change takes effect.

Donations

Donations are handled entirely by PayPal. When you choose to donate you leave this site and complete the payment on PayPal’s own systems. We never see or store your card number or bank details. PayPal tells us who donated and how much, so that we can thank you and keep proper financial records. PayPal’s handling of your data is governed by their own privacy policy.

Who we share information with

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that make the site work — our hosting provider, and the service that delivers form submissions to our inbox — and only to the extent they need it to perform that function. We may also disclose information if we are legally required to.

How long we keep it

We keep contact form messages for as long as we need them to handle your enquiry and for our records. Workshop notification emails are kept until you unsubscribe. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

This is not a confidential clinical channel

Please do not send us medical information, diagnoses, or details of your treatment through this website. Our contact form is ordinary email — it is not encrypted end-to-end, it is not a patient portal, and it is not monitored around the clock. If you need urgent help, call or text 988, or call 911 in a life-threatening emergency.

Your choices

• Unsubscribe. Every notification email has a one-click unsubscribe link.
• Access, correction, deletion. Email us and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it.
• California residents. California law gives you rights to know what personal information is collected about you, to have it deleted, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law. To exercise any right, email us at the address below.

Children

This site is intended for a general adult audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of the page. Material changes will be described on this page rather than made silently.
